PanelPrep AI is voice-first interview practice with a live AI panel. This page explains, in plain words, what it keeps and why. Last updated 2026-09-24.

What we store

  • Your account. When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo.
  • Your interviews. The settings you chose, the text transcript of the conversation, and the scored report. Audio is streamed live to the AI and is not recorded or stored by PanelPrep AI.
  • Files you upload. A resume or job description you add, and the summary made from it, to tailor your questions.
  • Scorecards you share. Only when you press "Create share link": a public page with your overall score, your competency scores, one strength, the role and round, and your first name if you choose. Never your transcript or your gaps. "Stop sharing" takes it down at once. Views and shares are counted so you (and we) can see how far it travelled.
  • The free question generator. A job description you paste is sent to Google Gemini to write the questions and is not stored. We count runs per day, and per network as a one-way hash, to keep it free.
  • The free demo. The demo runs under a temporary guest account. Its transcript is kept so it can be scored if you sign in afterwards. To prevent abuse, we keep a one-way hash of your network address, never the address itself.

What we measure

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and links bring people here. When you create an account we also note where your first visit came from (for example a search engine, a shared link, or a campaign tag in the link) so we know what is working. We do not sell data or show ads.

Who processes it

PanelPrep AI runs on Google Cloud and Firebase. Interviews are conducted and scored by Google's Gemini models.
